VIMUKTH is a Larvicide which contains Bacillus thuringiensis (B.T.).Bacillus thuringiensis is widely used in the control of insect pest. The bacterium produces an endotoxin which is found in a crystalline inclusion. In addition to the toxic factor, other proteins are involved in invasion of the host and blocking the host’s immune defenses.Thus B.T. is capable of Controlling varied types Insects like caterpillar and larva.

*Bt is a fast-acting insecticide: an infected insect will stop feeding within hours of ingestion and will die, generally from starvation or a rupture of the digestive system, within days. Whether applied in spray form or through genetic engineering, each Bt strain is effective against a narrow range of insects.

*The bacteria may remain effective for as long as 22 days, or may become ineffective after 24 hours, depending on conditions. Under normal conditions, BT products are active for three to seven days after spraying. In comprehensive spray programs on some crops, repeated application is recommended at regular intervals.

Dosage: 5 to 7 ml per liter or 1liter per acre.
